The commercial framework between Vista Travel and a verified trade partner. These terms sit above any individual booking; the specifics of each file are set out in your confirmation.

01Scope and trade-only basis

These terms apply to every quotation, confirmation and service Vista Travel provides to a trade partner. Vista Travel does not sell the services described on this website directly to travellers.

A trade partner means a company verified by Vista as a tour operator, travel agency, online travel platform, MICE or corporate planner, travel designer, cruise line or port agent. Verification is a condition of receiving net rates.

02Account opening and verification

An account is opened once Vista has verified your trading status. We may ask for company registration, trading licence or IATA details, your website and the markets you sell into.

  • Verification is usually completed the same working day
  • There is no account fee and no minimum volume
  • Vista may decline or close an account where trade status cannot be verified
  • You must tell us if your registration, ownership or trading name changes

03Net rates and confidentiality

Rates issued to you are net, confidential and specific to your account. They are not published on this website or anywhere else.

You may mark rates up freely and present the resulting price to your client under your own brand. You may not disclose Vista’s net rates to another agent, operator or platform, or use them to broker on Vista’s behalf without written agreement.

Vista will not undercut a partner’s client by approaching that client directly. See section 07.

04Quotations and validity

Quotations state their own validity period and the assumptions they were built on — dates, pax, service level and supplier availability at the time of quoting.

Where a quotation is subject to availability, it says so. A quotation is not a booking and holds nothing on your name until confirmed under section 05.

05Bookings and confirmation

A booking exists when Vista issues a written confirmation against your instruction. Verbal or provisional holds are not bookings.

  • Confirmations state the services, dates, service level and party details
  • Nothing is blocked with a supplier until terms are agreed in writing by both sides
  • Release deadlines for allotments and blocks are stated in your confirmation
  • You are responsible for checking confirmations against what you sold your client

06Payment

Deposit and balance schedules are set at account opening and vary by product — cruise, dahabiya charter and MICE blocks carry earlier deadlines than ground services.

  • Standard deposit: [CONFIRM %]
  • Balance due: [CONFIRM schedule]
  • Accepted method: bank transfer [CONFIRM other methods]
  • Bank charges are borne by the sending party unless agreed otherwise
  • Late payment may release blocked stock — you will be warned in writing before this happens

07The client relationship

Your client is your client. Vista does not contact them before, during or after the trip, and does not market to them.

Client-facing documents — itineraries, vouchers and travel information — are issued under your brand as standard. Vista’s name appears only where local law requires the operating licence to be identified, for example on certain permits and transport documentation.

You remain the contracting party with your client and are responsible for the terms you sell to them.

08Responsibilities

Vista is responsible for delivering the contracted services to the standard described, holding the operational file, providing duty cover for travelling groups and telling you promptly when something changes.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us — names, dates, pax, special requirements — for your client’s travel documentation and entry requirements, and for ensuring your clients hold adequate travel insurance.

09Amendments

Amendments are made free of charge where the supplier permits it. Where an amendment carries a cost, it is quoted to you before it is actioned, never applied afterwards.

Name changes, rooming changes and date shifts have different tolerances per supplier; the practical deadlines for your file are stated in your confirmation.

10Cancellation

Cancellation charges follow the written schedule in your confirmation, which mirrors the terms of the suppliers behind each service.

  • Ground services: [CONFIRM schedule]
  • Nile cruise cabins and blocks: [CONFIRM schedule]
  • Dahabiya and full-vessel charter: [CONFIRM schedule]
  • MICE and group movements: [CONFIRM schedule]

Cancellation must be made in writing to your named contact. The effective date is the date Vista receives it, in Cairo time.

11Force majeure and disruption

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural events, civil disruption, government action, site closures or transport failure.

Where such an event affects a travelling file, Vista’s duty desk re-plans the affected services and informs you directly. Where it affects a future booking, we will set out the options available and any supplier position on refunds or credits honestly, including where that position is unfavourable.

12Complaints

Raise operational issues with your named contact while the group is travelling wherever possible — most things can be fixed on the ground and cannot be fixed afterwards.

Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within [CONFIRM period] of the end of services. Vista will acknowledge within two working days and respond substantively within [CONFIRM period].

13Data protection

Each party is responsible for the personal data it controls. Where you pass traveller data to Vista for the purpose of operating a booking, Vista processes it only for that purpose. See the privacy policy for detail.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo. [CONFIRM — to be settled with Vista’s legal adviser, including any arbitration preference for international partners.]

Something here you want changed?

Terms are negotiable at the edges. If a clause does not work for your market, say so before you sign rather than after.
