What to know before you build the day

Journey times inside Cairo move by two hours across the day. Every timing we quote is built for the actual hour, not an average.

Cairo is where Vista’s office is and where most files begin. Transfers run on Vista’s own fleet, meet and assist covers all terminals, the guiding desk is staffed here, hotel stock is held on allotment, and MICE is delivered at full scope rather than referred out. Visa and entry support is handled in house as well.

What Cairo does not do is river work: Nile cruise contracting and dahabiya charter belong to Luxor and Aswan, and shore excursions to the Red Sea and Alexandria. The routings that pass through Cairo — the domestic hop to Luxor or Aswan, the desert road to Alexandria, the sleeper train — are quoted with their real durations and their real trade-offs, which is why they are printed on this page rather than described as short.

About this region

What planners check first

What does a dash in the capability matrix mean?

That the discipline is not operated in that region. It is a real answer rather than a gap — if we cannot run something to our own standard we say so before you build the itinerary around it.

Can you operate in Sinai and the Western Desert?

On request, and against a current access check rather than a standing file. Permits and route access change, so we confirm before you publish the itinerary.

Are there shop stops or commission stops?

No. There are zero shop stops and zero third-party incentives inside the vehicle. Nothing is added to the day that you did not sell.

Building something in Cairo & Giza?

Send the shape of the day and the desk confirms what is operable, and what it costs you in time, within 24–48 hours.
