What Vista Travel collects from trade partners and travellers, why, how long it is kept, and who it is shared with in order to operate a booking.

01Who we are

Vista Travel (Vista Tourism), a licensed Egyptian tour operator, Category A, Reg. No. 2019, registered at Sherif Street, Abdeen, Cairo, Egypt. Contact: trade@vista-travel.com [CONFIRM].

02What we collect

From trade partners: business contact details, company registration or licence information, the markets you sell into, and the correspondence in your file.

From this website: the contents of any form you submit, plus basic analytics about how pages are used. [CONFIRM analytics provider and cookie set.]

Traveller data you send us: names, contact details where needed, and any special requirements relevant to operating the booking — for example accessibility or dietary needs.

03Why we use it

  • To verify trade status before releasing confidential rates
  • To prepare quotations and operate confirmed bookings
  • To communicate with you about your files
  • To meet legal, licensing and accounting obligations in Egypt
  • To improve the website and the briefings we publish

04Our role and yours

For traveller data you provide, you determine why and how it is processed and Vista processes it on your instruction, for the purpose of operating the booking, and for no other purpose.

Vista does not contact your travellers for marketing, does not add them to any list, and does not use their data to sell to them directly — before, during or after the trip.

05Who we share it with

Only the suppliers who need it to deliver the service: hotels, cruise vessels, transport providers, guides and, where a programme crosses a border, our partner operator in the second country.

  • Shared on a need-to-know basis, limited to what the supplier requires
  • Never sold, rented or traded
  • Never passed to another trade partner
  • Disclosed to authorities only where legally required

06Special category data

Where you send health, accessibility or dietary information so that a service can be delivered appropriately, it is used only for that purpose, shared only with the supplier who needs it, and removed from active records once the booking is complete.

07How long we keep it

Business contact and booking records are retained for as long as the account is active and afterwards for the period required by Egyptian tax and licensing law. [CONFIRM retention period.]

Traveller data is retained only as long as needed to operate and account for the booking, then deleted or anonymised.

08Security

Access to files is limited to the staff who need it. Systems are password-protected and access is removed when someone leaves. If a breach affecting your data occurred, we would tell you — promptly and with what we actually know, rather than after an internal review concluded.

09Your rights

Depending on where you and your travellers are based, rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection may apply. Requests should be sent to the trade desk and will be acknowledged within [CONFIRM period].

Where you are the controller of traveller data, please route your travellers’ requests through your own process and we will support you in fulfilling them.

10Cookies

This site uses only what is needed to make it work, plus basic analytics. It carries no advertising trackers and no third-party marketing pixels. [CONFIRM final cookie list before launch.]

11Changes

If this policy changes materially, active trade partners are told directly rather than left to notice the date on the page.

Something here you want changed?

Terms are negotiable at the edges. If a clause does not work for your market, say so before you sign rather than after.
